If you persuade Teles to leave, Darys is grudgingly grateful and gives you a Bone Guard Belt as a reward, along with two points of Telvanni reputation. In this case, killing him is the only option. Any other series of responses will elicit a refusal, and cause his disposition to drop to 15. If you tell him that you don't know why the Telvanni want him dead, then follow up by asking him what will happen to the mer when "Lord Dral descends from his tower", Teles will leave town. The other option is to persuade him to leave town. There are several other people around so killing him discretely requires stealth or a long-distance effort. Sevroth Teles can be found on one of the port's innumerable platforms, just outside the door to Tadora Romyon's house.
